Ashland Planning Board continues two active site plan cases to August 13. Chair Paul Montesino led the roughly 100-minute Zoom session, voting 4-0-0 to continue Middlesex Savings Bank's renovation review at 2 West Union Street and 5-0-0 to continue Tilton Sunrise LLC's 14-unit mixed-use proposal at 55 Tilton Avenue. Member Scott Pelletier pressed the bank's team over a temporary construction trailer's placement near shared CVS access, while Tricia Kendall said a proposed patio fence "looks like it's enclosing something really unpleasant, like the dumpsters behind there." Director of Planning and Economic Development Jasmin Farinacci said Town Counsel Lisa Mead recommended addressing data centers through a zoning use-table amendment rather than a moratorium, a decision the board tabled until Vice Chair Anna Tesmenitsky returns.
The board also approved its June 25 minutes 4-0-0 and adjourned 5-0-0 at 8:58 p.m.
