Planning Board approves ANR subdivision, continues three public hearings.
Planning Board · Meeting of February 12, 2026
Ashland Planning Board unanimously approves ANR for Ballard Road-Highland Road subdivision. Attorney Jason Panos, representing the Depietri Group, told the board that nine buildable lots comply with a newly enacted state law requiring minimum lot sizes of 10,000 square feet and 75 feet of frontage; all must be three-bedroom houses with at least 1,850 square feet of heated space. Deputy Fire Chief Lyn Moraghan confirmed the tower truck can navigate the cul-de-sacs if no-parking rules are enforced.
The board also continued hearings on the 55 Tilton Avenue mixed-use building and 30 Memorial Drive YMCA to February 26, and moved the 240-260 Pleasant Street Connect Church soccer-field project to March 12 due to staffing changes. Vice Chair Anna Tesmenitsky drafted a letter of support for Hopkinton's planning board to protect the 0 Cross Street parcel as open space.
