Select Board approves $25,000 reimbursement for Killa Pizza, appoints new members to boards.

Select Board · Meeting of January 21, 2026

Ashland Select Board approves $25,000 reimbursement to Killa Pizza and two board appointments. The board unanimously approved the Economic Development Advisory Group's grant to Killa Pizza LLC for $20,000 in rental and equipment costs plus $5,000 for signage and facade work at 9 Homer Avenue, and appointed Madison Anderson as Public Safety Dispatcher and Meredith Gingrich to the Council on Aging. Separately, board members discussed the Housing Production Plan, due for completion by March, noting that approval of three pending 40B projects would raise the town's Subsidized Housing Inventory to approximately 10 percent and restore Safe Harbor status lost in 2023.

The board agreed to add Hopkinton open space protection monitoring to the next agenda after residents requested town oversight of a 1.8-acre parcel designated as offset mitigation for the Frankland Road solar project.
