ASHLAND — The Ashland Planning Board voted 4-0 to continue the 55 Tilton Avenue special permit hearing from June 25 to July 9. Chair Paul Montesino led the brief Zoom session, joined by members Anna Tesmenitsky, Deepa Venkat and Scott Pelletier; Patricia Kendall, who has recused herself from the Tilton matter, and Angel Khazadian were absent. Director of Planning and Economic Development Jasmin Farinacci recommended the delay after Tesmenitsky said she would miss the June 25 meeting and risked being "excluded" from the case if she missed a second hearing.
The 14-unit mixed-use project proposes two flex-space contractor bays in the Downtown District C zone. The board also tabled a data-center inquiry to July and previewed a June 25 Historic Commission hearing over a Scenic Road stone wall Farinacci said meets the "two courses and ten feet" definition "literally exactly."
