Zoning Board · Meeting of September 22, 2026
Ashland's Zoning Board of Appeals elected new officers and delayed a road permit case at its September 22 meeting. Members voted 4-0 to elect John Trefethen chair and 4-0 to elect Brian Forrestal clerk for the term beginning September 1. Trefethen then recused himself from a continued public hearing on a special permit modification for Captain Eames Circle and Algonquin Trail roadways, because he lives on Captain Eames Circle, handing the gavel to Forrestal.
Forrestal told attendees "the draft decision needs a little bit more work from both attorneys on both sides," and the board voted 3-0 to continue the case to October 13. The board also approved its September 8 minutes 2-0, with two members, including Trefethen, abstaining.
