Ashland Select Board and Planning Board move forward on Housing Production Plan. Jenn Goldson presented draft goals and strategies designed to expand housing options and affordability over five years; the boards will review member comments by March 2 before formal adoption. The boards voted unanimously to establish a Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee with two-year terms, comprising one Select Board member, one Planning Board member, and five to seven public members drawn ideally from the comprehensive planning committee, targeting recruitment completion by April 1.
The State will review the plan for completeness within 30 days of adoption, with final approval expected within 90 days.
