Ashland Zoning Board upholds Building Commissioner on Ledgemere roadway work. The board voted 3-0 to require Ashland Open Space Trust to seek modifications to its 1985 Special Permit and submit detailed plans to the Planning Board before proceeding with full repaving, new sidewalks, and median strips on Captain Eames Circle and Algonquin Trail. Members Brian Forestal and Kiran Gurran cited the project's significant upgrades, particularly changes to roadway width and sightlines, as constituting a substantive deviation from original approvals.
Associate Member Ryan Sullivan agreed additional review by both boards was warranted given outstanding questions. A written decision will be filed with the Town Clerk, and the Trust has the right to challenge it. ===END BRIEF===
