Zoning Board continues 40B hearing to April 14

ASHLAND — The Zoning Board of Appeals continued its hearing on a 40B Comprehensive Permit for a 116-unit apartment building at 55 West Union Street to April 14, 2026. Chair John Trefethen said the applicant's engineer has not completed reports required for the town's peer review; the applicant requested the delay on March 26. The project, proposed by 55 West Union LLC, would include 87 market-rate units and 29 units restricted to households earning at or below 80 percent of area median income on 4.9 acres in the Commercial Highway District.
The deadline to complete the hearing is April 15, 2026.
