Ashland Town Forest Committee elects new treasurer, plans October plantings. Sunil Krishnamurthy was unanimously elected Treasurer, moving from Associate Member to Permanent Member. The committee earmarked $1,200 for tree plantings — 32 trees plus donations from Bartlett Tree Experts — scheduled for October 4 and 10-11, coordinated by Co-Chairs Cara Hulme and Mike Jones.
Additional approvals included $400 for a Marget Pitman bungalow plaque revision and $100 for educational-event equipment; the next meeting is tentatively September 9.
