ASHLAND — Town Forest Committee backs $60 battery monitor for utility vehicle repairs. The committee approved the monitoring device to test voltage and load on two non-functioning lithium batteries, with Treasurer Rob St. Germain still awaiting word from Keefe Tech on potential lithium battery conversion and maintenance.
Co-Chairs Cara Hulme and Mike Jones oversaw unanimous approval of $78 for lamination of new forest maps and review of the prior month's minutes. The Eagle Scout project for stone spreading at the new Winter Street parking lot will proceed under Mike Jones's supervision, while discussion of a proposed trail camera policy was postponed to allow time for research into similar rules at other organizations.
