ASHLAND — Roadway Traffic Safety Committee approves minutes and reviews ongoing projects including a 40B development at 61 Waverly Street projected to add 300 vehicles to rush hour traffic. Chair Joe Magnani and members including Chief Keith Robie (AFD), Kevin Langmeyer (DPW), and Chief Cara Rossi (APD) noted the developer has declined to build required sidewalks along Route 135. The committee will seek updates on Cedar Street sidewalk design from DPW, review traffic light malfunctions at two intersections, and address resident concerns over semi-truck traffic on Howe Street and speed limit inconsistencies on Pleasant Street and Cordaville.

Next meeting set for February 24, 2026.
