Longtime Ashland Resident John Lovezzola Dies at 87
ASHLAND — Longtime Ashland resident John "Jack" Lovezzola died Aug. 11 at age 87, according to obituaries published this week by The MetroWest Daily News and Legacy.com. Ashland Public Library kept a full slate of summer programming on the calendar even as it canceled one scheduled event, and several town boards have meetings set for the week ahead.

Ashland Public Library's Teacher Tales series continues Monday with a session featuring first-grade teacher Ms. Johnson, part of a week that also includes a virtual "Divas of Broadway" installment. The library canceled its planned in-person "Name That Tune: Songs of Revolution" program, which had been set for Saturday.
