Library Board approves reference renovation, new Youth Services director

Ashland Library Board approves $10,000 reference area renovation. The Board of Library Trustees approved a mobile soundproof study pod to replace the reference desk, funded by a $10,000 Carnegie Foundation Grant with $1,000 relocation costs. The library also received MBI technology grant approval for 30 new devices to enhance digital offerings.
Director Meena Jain reported that Saturday's Martin Luther King holiday programming drew 400 visitors to the Children's Room as the library prepares expanded summer and seasonal programs.
