Conservation Commission continues hearings on Mill Buildings, Waverly Street projects

Ashland Conservation Commission continues major development hearings with site visit ordered. The Commission heard the first Notice of Intent for a 250-unit mixed-use development at 10-60 Main Street in floodplain and with documented flooding history; applicant representatives agreed to peer reviews of contamination remediation, stormwater, and floodplain plans. The Commission scheduled a March 21 site visit at 9:30 a.m. and will continue the hearing on March 16.
In a separate matter, the Commission continued a residential development hearing at 61 Waverly Street focusing on stormwater discharge increases and culvert rehabilitation, with the hearing continued to March 16.
