Conservation Commission continues 61 Waverly Street hearing

Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 5, 2026

Ashland Conservation Commission continues 61 Waverly Street hearing to January 20, 2026. The vote on the continuation motion was 6-0 after Vice Chair Carl Hakansson noted the January 12 regular meeting agenda was already packed. Applicants for the 40B mixed-income housing development must submit responses to peer review comments by January 13 or 14.

The January 20 hearing will be televised under a new Commission policy. In related business, the Commission voted 5-0 with one abstention to approve December 1 minutes, and Conservation Agent Becca Solomon noted a website update clarifying that hunting is prohibited at Warren Woods after a recent incident at the protected area.
