Ashland Conservation Commission approves bank expansion waiver and manages development review queue. The commission unanimously approved a stormwater waiver for Middlesex Savings Bank's 300 square foot expansion at 2 West Union Street, finding that the project will decrease net impervious area. The commission continued six development hearings to August 24, including projects at Tilton Sunrise, Pleasant Street, Oak Street, and Thomas Road locations, and retained GCG Associates as independent peer reviewer for the Tilton Sunrise stormwater design.

In enforcement, the commission issued a stormwater violation to property owner Ruy Barbosa for over 10,000 square feet of unpermitted disturbance at 181 East Union Street, with erosion controls now installed pending permit application.
