Ashland's Open Space and Recreation Committee identifies key gaps in draft plan. The seven-member committee discussed finalizing its draft Open Space and Recreation Plan at its May 12 meeting, citing concerns about the cover photo, incomplete demographics and land inventories, missing maps, and an unfinished ADA section. Members called for the current cover photo to be replaced because it shows alcohol at the Corner Spot.

The committee plans a site visit for a proposed event on May 24 or May 31 and received updates on conservation, trail planning, and stormwater management work.
