Board approves two-year lifeguard waiver for Lanterns at Warren Woods

ASHLAND — Board of Health approves two-year lifeguard waiver for Warren Woods facility. The Board unanimously approved a motion to grant the Lanterns at Warren Woods a two-year waiver from state lifeguard requirements for its swimming pool, with the condition that the Health Director conduct random inspections. Chair Ed Burman motioned the measure, Vice Chair John Byrnes seconded, and the 3-0 vote passed with Board Clerk David Kinsman voting yes.
Health Director Rajit Gupta confirmed the facility has had no issues and recently passed inspection. The Board also tabled votes on the Mary Mortensen Public Health Award and Board reorganization to allow full Board participation at the next meeting.
