Ashland Town Hall Closed Friday Under Standard Weekly Hours

The town's July 4th recycling event has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 11, while the Ashland Public Library rolled out a busy slate of summer programming for the coming week.

TOWN HALL

Ashland officials announced that the July 4th recycling event, postponed due to the holiday, will now take place Saturday, July 11. Separately, the town has launched a new licensing and permitting portal called OpenGov, intended to streamline how residents and businesses apply for local permits. Residents can find details on both items through the town's website.

Several town boards and committees have hybrid or Zoom meetings on the calendar for the week ahead, including the Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Historical Commission, and Select Board.

SCHOOLS

Ashland Public Schools has a Site Council meeting scheduled for the David Mindess Elementary School on Monday, July 14, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., according to the district's calendar. The district continues to post updates related to its ongoing Mindess Building Project, though no new developments were posted in this window.
