Ashland Library Fills Midweek With Family Programs and Author Talk
ASHLAND — The Ashland Public Library packs its midweek calendar with a run of family and adult programming this Wednesday and Thursday, including a garden workshop for young students and a virtual conversation on environmental writing.

The library's Wednesday lineup includes Baby Time for ages 0-3 with a caregiver, the Magic Trunk Theatre program for ages 3-6, and a Garden Workshop open to students in grades K-6. That evening, the library hosts a virtual event featuring authors Julie Carrick Dalton and Christen Civiletto discussing environmental writing.
The Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2026 continues online through Wednesday and Thursday, giving grown-up patrons an ongoing incentive to log books over the summer. Thursday's in-person offerings include Make Me a Story for ages 3-7 with a caregiver, continuing the library's steady cadence of early-literacy programming through the end of July.
Separately, the library's virtual Job Search Help series continues Wednesday with a session on managing online reputation for job seekers, part of its ongoing career-support offerings for residents navigating the job market.
