Ashland Conservation panel approves YMCA Early Learning Center stormwater permit

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 9, 2026

Ashland Conservation Commission approves YMCA Early Learning Center stormwater permit. The panel issued an Order of Conditions and Stormwater Management Permit for the MetroWest YMCA facility project at 30 Memorial Drive following several rounds of departmental review, approving it 6-0-1 with Commissioner Gabriel Toledo abstaining. Project engineer Andrew Platt reported that subsurface infiltration systems were increased to eliminate post-construction stormwater volume increases.

Three other stormwater permits were continued to March 23, including Ballard Road, where groundwater concerns prompted further peer review and Department of Public Works coordination.
